Physiotherapists use physical therapy techniques such as joint mobilisations, soft tissue therapy (e.g. massage), strengthening, flexibility and motor control exercises to aid in injury and pain management. Physiotherapists use an evidenced based approach which means the treatments used are backed through research.

At Balanced Physiotherapy and Pilates, we start with a 45-minute consultation where we take the time to discuss your ailment, we then perform a physical assessment to determine the possible cause of your pain as well as any contributing factors, and then follow with treatment using suitable therapy techniques. Depending on the cause of your pain you may be given exercises to complete at home to ensure you have the best and fastest recovery.

At Balanced we also offer Remedial exercise classes to help you with a speedy and complete recovery.
