Feel better during your pregnancy

— not just after it.

You shouldn't have to manage pain and pelvic floor symptoms until after birth.

Pelvic pain, back pain, leakage, heaviness. Most musculoskeletal and pelvic floor symptoms during pregnancy respond well to physiotherapy, and you don't have to wait until after birth to feel better.

What we can help with

Pelvic girdle pain:

Pain in your pelvis, hips or pubic area — often when walking, rolling over in bed, or getting out of the car. It's one of the most common things we see in pregnancy. We'll work out what's driving it and give you practical strategies to move more comfortably.

Lower back pain

As your bump grows and your posture shifts, your back takes on more load. We tailor treatment to where your pain is actually coming from — treatment that's specific to what's actually happening for you.

Pelvic floor symptoms

Leaking when you cough, sneeze or exercise. A feeling of heaviness or pressure down low. These symptoms are common in pregnancy — but they're not something you simply have to accept and deal with later. An assessment tells you what's actually going on and what you can do about it now.

What to expect

Your first appointment covers your history, your symptoms, and a hands-on assessment. We’ll assess what's contributing to your symptoms, and you'll leave with a clear understanding of what's happening and a specific plan.

How much physiotherapy you need depends on what we find. Some women need just a few sessions; others like regular check-ins as their pregnancy progresses and their body keeps changing. Either way, the plan is built around you and adjusts as you go.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No — you can book directly, at any stage of pregnancy.

  • Yes. Everything we do is adapted to your stage of pregnancy and follows current clinical guidelines. We'll always explain what we're doing and why, so you feel comfortable the whole way through.

  • If it's affecting your day, it's worth getting assessed. "Common" doesn't mean "untreatable" — and you deserve to know what your options are rather than just putting up with it.

  • There's no need to wait. Addressing things early often stops them from building into something bigger as your pregnancy goes on.
